Dr. Akinlabi Sanusi is a Board Certified General Psychiatrist who is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients. Dr. Sanusi completed his residency training in General and Adult Psychiatry at Richmond University Medical Center, Staten Island, New York, an affiliate program of the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, New York. Dr. Sanusi is also Board Certified in Addiction Medicine. Dr. Sanusi is a Member of the American Society for Adolescent Psychiatry. He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Abazie views each patient as an individual and approaches their care and treatment as unique. In order to identify and manage any symptoms an individual presents with, it is important to approach care holistically while understanding all of the factors involved in the state of the patient’s health. Her goal is to improve the quality of life for patients through compassionate and evidence based care.
Dr Abazie completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She also received her Master of Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Rutgers University. She has over 13 years of experience as a registered nurse in psychiatric and emergency room nursing, and as a nurse practitioner. Dr Abazie has the education, the skills, and the expertise necessary to provide an individualized and outstanding care for patients.

Christopher Castro is a Marriage and Family Therapist who provides clinical support and education to an array of couples, families, and individuals with different mental and behavioral health issues. Butler’s has practiced eclectic/supportive and CBT based counseling styles for the last 20 years. She has focused on helping those to help themselves. Butler has also worked simultaneously in the psychiatric emergency room. Her work has given her the knowledge, skills, and abilities to understand many different populations, cultural backgrounds, medical, mental health, addiction, and medication interactions. Butler has a good working knowledge of resources, therapy styles, treatments, and new practices always staying current.
